Hon. Mr Edmund Chong Ket Wah was born on 9 April 1956 in Sandakan. He is married to Linda Tsen Thau Lin and they have 4 children.

Edmund serves as the Treasurer General of the party and is currently the PBS Elopura Division Head. He is a qualified Mechanical Engineer and is Consultant Engineer by profession.

Edmund is a first time Member of Parliament after winning the parliamentary seat of Batu Sapi uncontested in the March 2004 General Elections.
