BN will provide equal treatment to all: Radin

TENOM, September 21 (Daily Express) -- Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Radin Malleh assured that the Barisan Nasional would continue to provide equal treatment to all, including the hardcore poor families.

In this respect, the Government had offered assistance to the poor to lessen their burdens, he said.

He said this at the distribution of food items under the supplementary diet programme, at Dewan Sri Antenom near here, on Thursday.

The programme, organised by the Community Development Department (Kemas) involved some 400 recipients.

In his address, delivered by Melalap PKR Blasius Masuning, Radin hoped that rural landowners would consider to development their idle lands with cash crops that could help supplement their income.

They should reciprocate the Government's provision of electricity and water supplies, kampung roads and water tanks, he said.

At the same time, their children could receive assistance through the Poor Students Fund, under the Education Department, he added.

In this respect, there should be no reason for the people to be influenced by negative propaganda of the opposition, he said.

He pointed out that the solid support of the people would make it easier for the BN Government to carry out smooth implementation of the various development projects.
