Pairin wants PBS divisions to be ready for snap election

KUDAT: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) president Datuk Joseph Pairin Kitingan has called on all PBS divisions and branches to begin early preparation for a possible snap state election.

He said the party's election machinery at all levels must be ready and in top gear to ensure a sweeping victory for the Barisan Nasional (BN).

"Make sure that our election machinery and party administration are well prepared and smooth running," he said when opening the Matunggung PBS annual general meeting (AGM) at Dewan Serbaguna, Kampung Pinawantai, here, yesterday.

Pairin said there was a need for a good management system such as management of information apart from ensuring smooth logistics and the supply of required equipment in facing the election.

He said the preparation at the branch level must be enhanced to fully prepare for the election -- due before April next year.
