wins hands down
PENAMPANG, Oct 13 (Daily Express) -- Pairin won the post of
KDCA President uncontested, Sunday. Datuk Dr Maximus Ongkili and Datuk
Dr Jeffery Kitingan won the Deputy President's posts after garnering 379 and
358 votes, respectively.
Challengers, Dr Saiman Sandah and Datuk Patrick Sindu obtained 92 and 98 votes, respectively. There are three deputy president's post where the remaining will be appointed.
As of press time, the counting of the ballot for the posts of vice presidents have not been completed yet. Some 500 delegates from 200 association branches in Sabah, Labuan and peninsula took part.
