PBS'
political struggle is motivated by the vision to create a
developed, harmonious, united and prosperous Sabah within
the Federation of Malaysia through genuine practice of parliamentary
democracy, dignified political conduct, balanced development
and professional administration.
The
specific aims and objects of the party as spelt out in the
constitution are as follows:

To
uphold, maintain and ensure the continued and proper process
and practice of parliamentary democracy.

To
uphold the Dignity of Man.
-
To
promote goodwill and work towards peace, progress, harmony
and understanding so as to ensure a proper process of
integration and unity among all the races in Malaysia,
particularly in Sabah.

To
preserve and to protect the rights and interests of Sabah
within the Federation of Malaysia.
-
To
protect and safeguard the rights and special privileges
of the local bumiputera and the legitimate interests of
other Malaysian citizens of Sabah.
-
To
protect, preserve and to promote the traditional customs,
and cultures of all the people of Sabah.

To
ensure and uphold without conditions the practice of religious
freedom.

To
promote awareness of being a Malaysian and loyalty to
the King and Country.

To
uphold and maintain the principles of the RUKUNEGARA in
the true sense of the word and its noble spirit.
-
To
work with other Malaysian registered political organisations
with similar aims and objects so as to ensure and encourage
the healthy development of party politics; and to do all
that is necessary and incidental to the above aims and
objects towards a just, stable, harmonious and prosperous
society.
