PBS to ensure BN victories

PAPAR, Feb 12 (Daily Express) -- Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) will contribute to the power sharing concept by garnering its full strength to ensure victories for the Barisan Nasional (BN) in the coming General Election.

Information chief, Johnny Mositun said as a partner of the coalition, PBS members should muster the party's strength to support the BN candidates in the parliamentary constituency here.

"I call on all PBS supporters to continue to support the candidates standing for BN no matter from which party he or she is representing," he said when launching the election machinery for Pantai Manis and Kawang at the district library on Sunday.

He said the launching of the two party divisions' election machinery showed that PBS is prepared to face election at anytime.

Mositun who is also PBS Pantai Manis Chief said the machinery would become part of the BN cores in attaining a win for the BN candidates in the parliamentary constituency here.

"The highly organised machinery will be deployed to the Papar BN Chairman and then absorbed into the BN election operations for the coming general election," he said.

He hoped the party's election machinery would be able to assimilate with the main machinery so that the BN would continue to represent the parliamentary seat and both Pantai Manis and Kawang State seats.
